We are honored that you are considering joining the McKendree community! Our program is designed for children ages six weeks to five years. Any child of this age is eligible for enrollment provided the program can reasonably meet the needs of the child.

McKendree is a diverse, loving, and inclusive community and and we welcome ALL children and families. McKendree does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, gender expression, age, national origin, disability, marital status, sexual orientation, or military status. Enrollment priority will be granted to children of McKendree UMC (church) members, siblings of children already enrolled, and children of McKendree UMC Daycare Staff.

The program typically has a waitlist for openings, which is approximately 18-24 months for infants and toddlers, but we are currently accepting enrollments of 3 and 4 year olds for our preschool program. It is strongly encouraged that you secure your place on the waitlist as early as possible if you are interested in future enrollment.

We are offering limited on-site tours while children are present. Please email  mckendreelindseyh@gmail.com to inquire about select tour dates or alternative tour options. 

An initial visit (in person or virtual), completion of application, and deposit, which includes a non-refundable $150 registration fee and a refundable* first week’s tuition, are required before being placed on the waitlist.

Our tuition/fees reflect our commitment to providing lower ratios of children to caregivers, as well as the extensive professional development and training we undergo for our professional staff. As part of our mission, we strive to make high-quality early childhood education accessible to all families and offer assistance for families who may need additional support. Financial aid is available and is determined each fall for the next year, with a November application period occurring the prior year.
